Learn stories from the grave at Voices from Eureka's Silent City
Get a taste of Eureka Springs history at the 11th annual Voices from Eureka's Silent City, a living history cemetery tour at the historic Eureka Springs Cemetery on Highway 62. The tour is scheduled for the last two weekends in October.
The event is one of our favorites because of how much the locals love it. Look for some of these locals dressed in period costumes to portray former residents of Eureka Springs. The local actors will share stories of their unique and colorful pasts, all centered around the theme "Silenced Voices from the Silent City."
This year, you will hear new personal recollections featuring new characters. That's what we love best about the tour –– the characters change every year, so you learn something new about our quaint little town every year!
Did you know?
The Eureka Springs Historical Museum, located at 95 S. Main, is the only Victorian-style home you can tour in Eureka Springs. The museum is located in a building referred to as the Calif House, named after Samuel L. Calif, who constructed the magnificent three-story home in 1889. Calif used his home as a family residence, dry goods store and hotel. Today, his legacy lives on in the museum.
You can find tickets at several locations, including all Cornerstone Bank locations in Eureka Springs, the Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce at 44 Kingshighway and the Eureka Springs Historical Museum at 95 S. Main St. You can also purchase tickets at the former Victorian Inn parking lot, located at 4052 E. Van Buren, right before the tours begin.

Support the Eureka Springs Historical Museum
Voices from Eureka's Silent City is a major fundraiser for Eureka Springs Historical Museum, but it's not the only event the museum is offering in October. The museum presents Witches Escape on Friday, Oct. 11, where you and your friends are invited to dress up like witches. The event features food, wine, music, dancing, psychics, magic, shopping and more.
